According to the Sanitation Department, fines for Sidewalk Obstruction (such as the scofflaw PSYCHIC bunch love to do) range from $100 to $300.

Scofflaws who chain their signs on busy sidewalk corners, so that people will walk down the street to the actual storefront, and scofflaws who put up signs that have their phone numbers (which easily leads to a store or apartment) can and should have money taken from their bank accounts, or have their property seized. There is NO excuse for the Scofflaw activity from anyone shown in posts on this blog.
