The "MATH TUTOR" Still Playing his Senile Games

"Who are YOU?" asks the ugly old "Math Tutor" as he tapes his illegal signs to the bus shelters all around 72nd and York and 72nd and First.

Nobody can tell HIM what to do. HE wants to put up his signs. He'll damn well do it.

July 30th and he's at it again, 5pm. Maybe he's a little afraid to do it during regular business hours? He might not huff "WHO ARE YOU?" to someone in UNIFORM catching him putting up the signs and reminding him of THE LAW.

The creep has changed from his glossy stock PINK signs to a cheaper orange paper. Maybe that's a sign that in the dead of summer, not too many people need a dilapidated crud with no credentials fondling their kids and "teaching" them what he knows about math. Which is probably even less than what he knows about law, manners, and how grateful he should be that he isn't in jail or deported.

Disrespecting the Neighbors - PSYCHIC SLEAZE

Several officers from Sanitation have literally called up the "psychic" and her idiot husband, and told them to STOP the illegal and obnoxious games.

STOP sneaking A-frame signs that block pedestrians (stuck in the middle of the sidewalk at 435 E 75)  and create an eyesore (chained to the corner of 1st and 75th).  

There are lamp posts on all four corners of 75th and 1st...but the LEGIT and CARING businesses on these corners don't put up A-frame signs that are eyesores, illegal, and block pedestrians and create hazards for children and wheelchairs. 

It takes a certain type of sociopath...

A certain type of under-handed, selfish pig....

To keep on being a scofflaw, a stubborn jerk, and a lowlife who disrespects his neighbors, his fellow merchants, and the beauty of a street that doesn't need cheap junk-signs marring it.

Disrespecting police, Sanitation, neighborhood patrol...by sneaking the signs after 5pm on weekdays and on weekends...that's compulsive criminal behavior. That's not the act of someone who is a credit to the neighborhood, someone running a legitimate business.

There's a big ugly sign IN the window of his basement hovel. 

There's another ugly sign on the gate leading down to the hovel. 

But this monster has to keep defying all that's decent.

This monster has to do what NO others in the neighborhood are doing...continuing, after warnings, tickets, and phone calls specifically laying down the law....to chain A-frame signs illegally and put them  where wheelchairs and children and pedestrians have to practically cross the street to avoid them.

For what? For con-game fake psychic "readings?"

THREE signs on the building itself, and that's not enough!

This creepy couple have to put an A-Frame on the sidewalk, and then scuttle like human roaches with yet another A-Frame, even more gigantic, to chain to the corner lamp post on 1st avenue.

When a sign is confiscated they get another. They've worn out this game over the past year. 

D.O.T. The Police. Sanitation. Supervisors. More tickets. Surveillance camera. EVICTION. 

A lot can be done and will be done, because this CRAP will not be tolerated. 

It will NOT be TOLERATED.

No place to hide. Every illegal action documented, video recorded, with date-stamps.

It will be very hard to tell a judge "I didn't know" and "I wasn't warned."

Ides of JULY - the Scofflaw Slob DOUBLES DOWN

It's simple.

The 19th Precinct's "community affairs" officer makes a call.  

OR... 

Sanitation drives by after 5pm and writes a summons.

OR?? ANY IDEAS???

It's about RESPECT for the neighborhood. 

It's about THE LAW 

Instead, this ugly dumpy scofflaw goes on and on and on.  

Now she's got TWO extra signs in violation of city law,  

One of them is plopped in front of her hovel at 435 east 75th.  

The other?  

Right on the corner of busy 1st and 75th, because there's a bar there and SHE wants to get drunken Yuppies to waste their money with HER instead of in the bar. The bar that does NOT put up their own illegal a-frame sign.  

Why is it that THEY don't? 

Why is it that the Deli across the street doesn't?  

And Symphony Cleaners doesn't?  

And Starbucks doesn't?  

Why should it be that a dumpy scofflaw slob can chain a sign up and get away with it when all the decent stores that could also put A-frames up on corners of 75th and 1st...DON'T????  

Do our politicians, who race around with volunteers this time of year DEMANDING signatures on ballot petitions, think that a scofflaw who chains A-frames every night after 5pm and sneaks them on weekends, is "not worth" a phone call? A summons that puts $100 or more into the city coffers?  

IS that your sign of APATHY, my politician friend?  

The 19th Precinct can't spare a minute for a phone call? Sanitation can't? This isn't a bum  that disappears into to the crowd, or a pickpocket that scoots out of jail the following morning. THIS woman sits her butt in a chair in front of her building, with two illegal signs...on 1st and in front of the building. She pays rent. She has a bank account. SHE IS NOT SOMEONE TO BE AFRAID OF.
